Huobi Chinese cryptocurrency exchange announced that Ripple (XRP) is added on the OTC (Over-the-Counter) trading platform.
Huobi currently supports OTC trading for Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), Eos (EOS), and Huobi Token (HT). Ripple joins the party now.
Over the Counter (OTC) trading is a type of peer-to-peer (p2p) trading. OTC will not affect the exchange prices and done directly between two parties. Exchange works as an escrow and provides security to the funds for both parties.
Huobi is the 8th largest cryptocurrency exchange by volume according to coinmarketcap data with a daily volume of $675 million dollars.
The CEO of Huobi, Livio Weng said that OTC platform is important for the company and for users who believe in peer-to-peer trading.
Bitcoinik reported Binance announced new ICO "Celer Network" on binance launched. The ICO will happen on 19 March.
