Cryptopia Enables 'Cancel Order' Preparing for Full Relaunch

The Newzealand based cryptocurrency exchange Cryptopia enables 'Cancel Order' for all users. Cryptopia announced this by a Twitter post on 10 March.

Cryptopia users can cancel the orders that were placed before the exchange hack on 14 Jan. Users need to manually login into the exchange to cancel orders. The API keys are still disabled.

This is a good step to avoid any loss of users. Cryptocurrencies are famous for volatility. Most of the coins have changed more than 10 percent this will avoid the selling or buying of coins at high prices. This move brings Cryptopia one more step closer to the relaunch of full exchange.

  1. Ideally, the bitcoin exchange service does not sell currency directly to customers, but simply matches buyers and sellers. Some exchanges hide this process by setting a price which matches current demand for specific currencies (like Coinbase), while others show the order book (Bitstamp).
