For Miners and Token Holders

Every Ethereum miner must update their client to the latest version unless they are unable to operate on post-upgrade Ethereum network.

All ETH token holders who can control their private keys do not have to worry about upgrade. For those who have ETH coins on Hardware Wallets and on Mobile wallets and on Exchanges then check the support announcement from them.

Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, Metamask, MyEtherWallet, MyCrytpo, Ledger, Trezor, KeepKey, Coinbase wallet, Trust Wallet, Status.im all these are supporting the upcoming ethereum upgrade and you do not need to do anything, just keep your ETH coins there you will not lose anything.

What this Upgrade will do?

By this Ethereum upgrade the Miners rewards will be reduced and Difficulty Bomb will be delayed which was introduced to stop the pow chain miners after Proof Of Stake Chain (POS) started. Also there are some technical improvements will be occurred by this upgrade.

Ethereum Chain will be changed from Proof Of Work to Proof Of Stake algorithm to make Ethereum more scalable and to stop the wastage of large amount of energy (electricity) in the mining.
